 Dubai-   Artist Aslam Noor also renowned as Art Noor has become synonymous with the spiritual element that is prominent and characterizes his work. His contemporary paintings inspired by the 99 names of Allah, have been exhibited in a dozen grand solo exhibitions at the highest profile locations of the country. Accompanied often is much sought after and unexpected gift of iconic 99 Book of his paintings.

For past two years, Burj Khalifa, has been showcasing his work in LED shows during the month of Ramadan, with an overwhelming response from the audience. The testimony of which is nearly two and a half million views of the video on Facebook and thousands of positive comments.

Two decades after being a pioneering contemporary artist, on two simultaneously arduous journeys, an exhibition to show his oeuvre was definitely needed. Hence the “ArtNoor Retrospective was conceived by Studio Seven Gallery, consisting of 7 events, scheduled over 12 days.

Noor elaborates about this on his blog “The spiritual and art journey have a lot in common. Both begin with a feeling, or a small voice within which prompts you. Both require surrender. The difference is that Art can be shared, via tangible means. It can translate into objects, sensory experiences, or even trigger off the new paradigms in thinking. With this ‘retrospective’ I am looking forward connecting and sharing. Because, we all a part of one creative consciousness, like the fragments of a big whole.”

At “ArtNoor Retrospective” visitors will get to see a wide genre of artworks that Noor has created, shedding light on the Artists Journey and for the first time a show has been so integrally planned to engage visitors through, Art Reveals, Art Talks and Art Quiz’s giving opportunities for people to win original artworks by Noor.

Opening on Tuesday 10th of December and will run till 21st of December 2019 at Studio Seven Art Gallery, 803 Oxford Tower, Business Bay Dubai, UAE.

The exhibition will open on 10th of December till 21st of December 2019; there are Seven days shortlisted for Art Revelations, Art Talks and Art Quizzes.

On 10th of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Fattah” (The Opener) along with an Art Talk on the topic “Open Minds, Open Hearts” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “Open the Box”.

On 12th of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Khaliq” (The Creator) along with an Art Talk on the topic “The mystery of human creativity” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “Create the winning word”.

On 14th of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Badiy” (The Innovator) along with an Art Talk on the topic “The relationship of Art & Innovation” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “Dubai Innovation”.

On 16th of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Noor” (The Light) along with an Art Talk on the topic “Finding your way in the dark” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “Solve a navigation puzzle”.

On 18th of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Wadud” (The Loving) along with an Art Talk on the topic “How to do what you do with love” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “On Rumi”.

On 19th of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Baseer” (The All Seeing) along with an Art Talk on the topic “Art Appreciation” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “On critiquing Art”.

On 21st of December, there will be an unveiling of “Al Sabur” (The Patient) along with an Art Talk on the topic “We grow because we struggle” and an opportunity to win a painting by playing the quiz “Name five famous strugglers”.

All the events are open to public and free to enter, the revelations, talks and quizzes will be held from 7:00 pm onwards on the listed dates; Retrospective opens from 10th till 21st of December 2019
